Article 131 of the San Francisco Administrative Code prohibits discrimination in City contracts. It also requires the City to contract only with businesses that provide equal benefits to domestic partners, as they would to spouses of employees.
If you are a supplier entering into a City contract above $230,000, you must comply with this requirement. To be eligible for the contract, you must submit a Declaration confirming that your business follows the law.
